It's 5:00 AM On a Sunday...
I’m sitting on my balcony, overlooking the Miami River, contemplating several aspects of my life…
I’m doing this 48 hour fast so I only got about 5 hours of sleep last night.
Despite that I feel amazing, mentally sharp, and dialed in.
I want to talk about a topic that I feel is underdiscussed in the online business world:
The Ability To Focus
If there’s one thing you’ll realize from a deep fast, it’s the fact that you probably live in a constant state of being constantly “unfocused.”
Distraction, shiny object syndrome, and short attention spans are KILLERS in today’s world.
It’s so easy to get pulled in a 1,000,000 different directions nowadays…
You feel like you’re accomplishing something because you’re “working hard” and “pulling long hours…”
But what have you REALLY accomplished?
How much has your business REALLY grown?
The reason you’re working so much is probably because you’re doing a million different things…
And the reason you’re doing a million different things is because you’re failing to prioritize what’s ACTUALLY important.
Let Me Tell You a Quick Story
When I was a kid, I was a pretty legit soccer player.
I remember being 10 years old and routinely scoring hat tricks in games. Sometimes I’d drop like 5 or 6 goals.
Two of my older cousins played college soccer (and my Uncle coached college soccer) so I guess you could say it ran in the family.
I also played basketball, swimming, baseball, track, and tennis.
When I turned 12, my Dad sat me down one day and said,
“D, you’ve gotta choose…Soccer or Tennis? Pick one.”
I chose Tennis.
I proceeded to only play Tennis for the next 10 years of my life.
I shut out everything else with the sole goal of being the best possible Tennis player I could be.
…and it worked out pretty well.
I was never Top 100 in the world or anything but I was pretty damn good.
I’m confident I could’ve played college or professional Soccer…
I also probably could’ve ran track in college…
But there’s no way in hell I could have played college tennis AND soccer AND track.
Completely impossible.
I would’ve been stretched too thin…
It’s hard enough to succeed in one sport when you’re focusing 100% of your time on it.
If you think you’re going to succeed in two sports at a high level…then you’re just fooling yourself.
Even LeBron had to choose between Football and Basketball.
MJ had to choose between Basketball and Baseball.
…and
You’re not LeBron and I’m not MJ.
I see a lot of people who do the exact same thing in business.
They are trying to run 4 different businesses at one time (and all of them suck).
Sometimes you’ve just gotta pick one, commit to it 100%, and go all in on it until it works.
You may not see success today, tomorrow, or next year…
But on a 10 year timeline you 100% will.
I saw this play out in sports.
I’m already seeing it play out in business too.
So if there’s one thing you take from this email…
Try to narrow your focus.
Don’t try to do everything.
Pick the most important stuff, the BIG needlemovers, ruthlessly execute on those, and find a way to delegate (or cut out) the rest.

P.S. Want to know an example of something that you should 100% focus and prioritize in your business?
Lead quality.
Most business owners are wasting their time taking loads of sales calls (and spending thousands of dollars) with prospects who will NEVER buy from them.
Why? Because they’re a terrible fit (and their lead quality is trash).
I shot out an email last week about the beta launch on my “How To Fix Your Lead Quality” program. If you already purchased this, please check out the Skool group since I’ve added a ton of killer modules inside there over the past few days.
If you’re interested in getting the full details…
Or if you’re ready to purchase…
At the moment, this is available for just $500.
Once I’ve written the ads, filmed the VSL, and finalized a few more of the modules…
I will probably sell this over the phone for somewhere in the range of $5,000-$10,000.
I don’t have a hard timeline for when this will happen.
It may be next month, next week, or tomorrow (tough to say)…
So if you want to secure lifetime access at a massive discount…
